Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo | Transfer to Kandy | Enroute Visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage | Kandyan Dance Show

Welcome to Sri Lanka. When you arrive in Colombo, someone will be waiting to meet you. They will drive you to Kandy. On your way to Kandy you will stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a place that takes care of elephants that are hurt or do not have a home. When you get to Kandy and check into your hotel, you can go for a drive around Kandy Lake in the evening. Kandy Lake is really pretty. The hills around Kandy Lake are nice too. To end your day, you can watch a Kandyan dance show. The Kandyan Dance Show is a lot of fun with clothes and good music. The dancers perform Sri Lankan dances that tell stories from Sri Lanka. After the Kandyan dance show, you will go back to your hotel to rest. Sri Lanka is a place, and Kandy is a big part of Sri Lanka. You will see a lot of Sri Lankan things in Kandy, which is a big part of what makes Sri Lanka so special.

Day 2: Kandy Sightseeing Tour

Set out today on a tour of Kandy, the cultural crown jewel of Sri Lanka. Your exploration starts at the Market Crafts Centre. This place is perfect to find treasures and unique souvenirs because it has lots of items that you can buy as gifts. Next visit the Gem Museum. The Gem Museum shows a collection of semi-precious stones and displays Kandys geological wonders. In the afternoon you will see natures beauty when you stroll through the Royal Botanical Gardens, which have tropical plants. You will also visit the Orchid House, which has flowers, and a Spice Garden, which has various herbs and spices that Sri Lanka is famous for, and you can learn about them. The day gets spiritual when you visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, called the Kandy Temple. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a site, in Sri Lanka because it has the relic of Lord Buddha making Kandy Temple very special and a must-visit.

Day 3: Transfer to Nuwara Eliya | Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing Tour

You will drive to Nuwara Eliya after checking out. People call Nuwara Eliya Little England. When you arrive at your hotel and check in, you will take a tour of the city to see some places. First you will visit Seetha Eliya, a temple thats very important in the old story of the Ramayana. Then you will go to Hakgala Gardens, which has lots of plants and flowers. After that you will walk around Victoria Park, whichs very pretty with lots of flowers. Next you will visit Gregory Lake, where you can go for a boat ride if you want to. Then you will see Ramboda Falls, a waterfall with lots of trees around it. At the end of the tour you will visit the Hanuman Temple, a place for many people. Then you will head back to your hotel. You will get to see Nuwara Eliya and all the nice things it has to offer, like Nuwara Eliyas parks and gardens and Nuwara Eliyas famous temples. You will enjoy your time in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4: Transfer to Bentota | Enroute Visit to Edinburgh Viewpoint & Kithulgala | Day at Leisure

When you finish checking out, you will start your trip to the coastal area of Bentota. You will go through some of the places in Sri Lanka. Your first stop is the Edinburgh Viewpoint. This is where you can see views of hills with mist all around them and green valleys. Then you will go to Kitulgala; this is the place in Sri Lanka where people go for white-water rafting. You can choose to go on the Kelani River if you want to; you have to pay extra for this. When you get to Bentota and check into your hotel, you can do what you want for the rest of the day. You can take a boat to Cinnamon Island if you want to learn about cinnamon. You can walk around Brief Garden; this is a garden with a lot of sculptures, and it was made by Bevis Bawa. In the evening you can relax on the beach or go into the town near your hotel. You can go back to your hotel whenever you want. Bentota is a place, and you will have a lot of fun; you will see a lot of things in Bentota and Sri Lanka. Day 5: Visit to Madu River & Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery

This morning I will head to Bentota to explore the wonders. My trip begins at the Madu River, where I can take a boat ride for an extra fee. As I go through the mangrove forests and wetlands, I will look out for the variety of animals and birds that live there. After I finish my time on the river, I will visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. This place helps care for turtles. I can see types of turtles that are in danger. I can learn about how they keep the turtle eggs safe. If I am lucky, I might even see baby turtles being released into the Indian Ocean. Then I will travel back to my hotel in a vehicle. The Madu River and Bentota are full of experiences. The Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery helps protect turtles. I am excited to see the turtles and learn more.

Day 6: Excursion to Mirissa & Galle

You are going to have a day. You will travel to Galle city and Mirissas beautiful beaches. Your trip will be like a journey through time. It starts at the Dutch Reformed Church, an old and pretty building. The church has been around for a time. Then you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort, which is very famous. You can walk on the walls to the Fort Lighthouse. These are two places on the island. They will show you what life was like a time ago in Sri Lanka. You will learn about the culture of the place. You will go to the Maritime Museum. There you can see ships that sank a time ago. Then you will visit the Meera Mosque, a building. It shows how different people lived together in the town. After that you will go to Mirissa Beach, which has sand. You can walk along the beach. Go to Coconut Tree Hill. There you can see the Indian Ocean. You can take pictures with big palm trees in the background. The view of the Indian Ocean is really something to see. You will love the palm trees that surround it. You will have a good time at Mirissa Beach and Galle city. Galle city and Mirissa Beach are places to visit.

Day 7: Transfer to Colombo | Colombo Sightseeing Tour

When you are done checking out, you will head to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka and a cool place. Colombo is a city that has a lot to offer. You will start at Galle Face Green, a park by the ocean where people like to hang out in Colombo. Then you will visit the Gangaramaya Temple, a place with many old things that are important to visitors in Colombo. Next you will walk around the Colombo Fort area, which has old buildings. After that you will see the Lotus Tower, the thing in Sri Lanka, and it is really cool to visit in Colombo. You will also get to walk on the suspension bridge, a way to see Colombo from a different view. You will visit the Pettah Floating Market in Colombo, where you can see people buying and selling things and feel the energy of the city of Colombo. This tour of Colombo will show you new things about the city. The city of Colombo is a place to visit, and you will see a lot of things on this tour. Colombo has a lot to offer its visitors.
