Day 1: Arrival in Colombo | Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage | Transfer to Kandy | Lake Drive with Kandyan Dance Show
Welcome to Sri Lanka. When you arrive in Colombo, you will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a place where elephants that were rescued are taken care of. At the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage you can see these elephants taking baths and playing with each other in a place that feels like home to the elephants. Then you will travel to Kandy, whichs a beautiful city in the hills. In Kandy you will check into your hotel. Get some rest. Later in the evening you will take a drive around Kandy Lake. Kandy Lake is really famous. You will love the calm feeling of Kandy Lake. You will also get to learn about the history of Kandy. At the end of your day in Kandy you will watch a dance performance from Kandy. The Kandyan dance performance is really exciting. You will see people playing drums and walking on fire and dancing at the Kandyan dance performance. After the Kandyan dance performance you will go back to your hotel in Kandy and sleep.
Day 2: Transfer to Bentota | En Route visit to Perandeniya Botanical Gardens & Tea Factory | Boat Ride at Madu River | Visit to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery
When you are done checking out, you will begin your journey to the coastal town of Bentota. On the way to Bentota you can see the landscapes of the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. You can walk down the Royal Palm Avenue at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Look at a lot of different plants at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens have more than 4,000 kinds of plants. You will also get to visit the Kadugannawa Tea Factory to taste the real Ceylon tea that people all over the world like. When you get to Bentota and check into your hotel at Bentota, you can do fun things at Bentota. You can take a boat ride on the Madu River at Bentota. Look at the mangroves and the busy life in the Madu River at Bentota. At the end of the day you can go to the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to see people working hard to protect turtles and get close to sea turtles that e in danger. The town of Bentota is really nice. The Madu River at Bentota is very pretty. You will have a time in Bentota and see many nice things like the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens and the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, at Bentota.
Day 3: Leisure Day in Bentota
Today is a day to enjoy Bentota at your own pace. You can head to Bentota Beach to soak up some sun. Bentota Beach is also perfect for water activities like windsurfing and jet skiing. To experience some culture take a boat ride to Cinnamon Island. On Cinnamon Island you can see how people harvest cinnamon the way just like they have been doing for years. Cinnamon Island is really interesting to visit. If you are into history, you should definitely visit the Galapata Vihara. The Galapata Vihara is a Buddhist temple. It is famous for its stone writings. You can also visit the town of Ambalangoda. Ambalangoda is a place that is full of Sri Lankan heritage. In Ambalangoda you can see handmade masks that tell stories from local folklore. These masks are really something.
Day 4: Transfer to Colombo | Colombo Sightseeing Tour
When you are done with checking out, you will head to Colombo, the city thats the heart of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a city thats really alive. You will get to your hotel check-in. Then you can start looking around Colombo. You will see that Colombo has a lot of things and new things mixed together. You will go on a tour with a guide to see all the things in Colombo. Your tour will start at the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple. The Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple is really beautiful. It shows how old styles and new styles can work together in the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple. Then you will go to Galle Face Green. Galle Face Green is a place by the sea where people like to go and have fun. After that you will walk around the Colombo Fort area. The Colombo Fort area will feel like you are going back in time when you walk around it. At the end of your tour you will go up the Lotus Tower. The Lotus Tower is the tower in South Asia. From the top of the Lotus Tower you can see Colombo and the Indian Ocean. The view from the top of the Lotus Tower is really amazing. You will see everything from up in the Lotus Tower. The Lotus Tower and the city of Colombo will be an experience for you. You will see Colombo and the Indian Ocean from a cool perspective when you are at the top of the Lotus Tower.
Day 5: Departure Day
In the morning, check out of the hotel and get transferred to Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport. This is where your amazing Sri Lanka trip comes to an end.
