Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Chennai (Arrival)

Our representative will welcome you at Chennai Railway Station or Airport. Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It was formerly known as Madras until 1996. Chennai is a cultural, economic airport. economic and educational center in South India. You will go to your hotel. Check in. Then you will visit some of Chennais South Chennais places. Visit the Government Museum. It is one of the museums in India. Please note that it is closed on Fridays. Next, Chennais Next, visit the Chennai Snake Park. It is closed on Tuesdays. Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram

In the morning after we have breakfast, we will check out of the hotel. Drive to Mahabalipuram. When we get to Mahabalipuram, we will. See the sights. Mahabalipuram is famous for its Hindu Group of Monuments, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site from the 7th and 8th centuries. This place used to be a port for the Pallava rulers a time ago. The Pallava rulers built a lot of things like caves, sculptures, temples, and big stone cars called monolithic rathas. We will visit the Mahabalipuram Seashore Temple, which is one of the best examples of Dravidian-style buildings from the 8th century. After that we will check into our hotel. Later we will go to the Krishna Mandapam, which is a temple for Lord Krishna, and it is the biggest cave temple in the world. The walls of this temple have pictures of Lord Krishna, people, birds, and demi-gods. Then we will see Arjunas penance, whichs a big rock carving from the 7th century. We will also visit the Cave Temples which e more than ten temples cut into rocks from the 7th century. Finally we will go to the Pancha Rathas, whichs a group of five big stone temples each built in a different style. These are also called the Paandava Rathas. We will then go back, to our hotel for the night.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Puducherry (Pondicherry)

In the morning after we have our breakfast, we will check out of the hotel. Drive towards Puducherry, which is also known as Pondicherry. Puducherry is one of the popular tourist spots for tourists from our country and other countries. There are a lot of temples and churches and monuments and parks and mosques in Puducherry that tourists like to visit. When we arrive at Puducherry, we will visit the Panchavati Kshetram. The Panchavati Kshetram is a Hindu temple. It is dedicated to Panchamukha Sri Anjaneyaswamy. Then we will go to the Auroville Matrimandir; we can see it from the outside. The Auroville Matrimandir is a place where people can sit quietly by themselves. We can see the Auroville Matrimandir from the Viewing Point. The Viewing Point is near the Park of Unity. The Viewing Point is like a garden, and it is a little higher than the ground so we can see the Auroville Matrimandir and the area around it from here. Then we will go to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. We have the rest of the day to do what we want. We can eat the food; it is very tasty. We can go around the area by ourselves; we can visit the market and many other things. We will go back, to the hotel at night. Stay there.

Day 4: Puducherry (Pondicherry) Sightseeing

In the morning after we have breakfast, we will go for sightseeing in Puducherry. We will visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The Sri Aurobindo Ashram is one of the well-known ashrams in India. People from India and all over the world come to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram for salvation. Then we will visit the Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple. The Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple is one of the temples in Puducherry. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. After that we will visit the Puducherry Museum. The Puducherry Museum is an art and history museum. It is famous for its collection of Chola bronze sculptures. The Puducherry Museum has a collection of Chola bronze sculptures. Please note that the Puducherry Museum is closed on Mondays and national holidays. Next we will go to Bharathi Park. The Bharathi Park is a park with a Greco-Roman arch structure and lots of flowers. There is also a play area and fountains in the Bharathi Park. Then we will visit the Promenade Beach. The Promenade Beach is also known as the Pondicherry Beach. It is a beach that starts from the War Memorial and ends at Dupleix Park on Goubert Avenue. We will also visit the Sacred Heart Basilica. The Sacred Heart Basilica is an example of Gothic architecture. Then we will go to the Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden was built by colonists on twenty-two acres of land. The Botanical Garden has themed plots, an aquarium, and train rides. After that we will drive to the Chunnambar Boat House. The Chunnambar Boat House is one of the visited tourist attractions. It offers a great houseboat experience. We will return to the hotel. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 5: Puducherry - Chennai (Drop)
